The city of Jackson issued a precautionary boil-water notice after two water lines broke this weekend.
City Spokesman Chris Mims said that crews have repaired the water line breaks on Davis Road and Ridgewood Road, but the boil-water notice must remain in place for two days.
The boil-water notice is in effect for residents on Ridgewood Road (4100- 4200) and Ridgeover Place.
The city will alert residents immediately when the notice is lifted.
