Pro basketball will return to Jackson this spring. The Jackson Wildcats of the United States Basketball League will play at the Mississippi Coliseum from April through June. The Wildcats' home opener is scheduled for April 22.

"Mississippi has always had a large number of basketball fans, and our introduction of the Wildcats here has been met with great enthusiasm. We're excited, and we know basketball fans will be too," owner Carlos Moore said in a press release.
