With the party primaries and runoffs behind us, some might be tempted to think the municipal elections are over. But, while many key seats are decided, the final decisions will be made on several races in the general election June 7.
The Democratic Primary May 3 that saw incumbent Mayor Harvey Johnson ousted, sets the stage for the June 7 showdown between Democrat Frank Melton and Republican Rick Whitlow.
