We will surely miss Jackson's FIRST BLACK MAYOR, Harvey Johnson, Jr. and our FIRST BLACK LADY of the City of Jackson, Kathy Ezell Johnson. Thanks for all of the wonderful things you did for the City to include your presence and support of Mrs. Myrley Evers - Williams and the minds and hands of the talented people who put this event together.
Thanks for your vision for making the Jackson Convention Center a reality. You and your administration made it possible for us to have a place like this to host such an affair to promote a positive tribute to the legacy of the late great, Medgar Evers.
