The Mississippi Museum of Art recently announced that it will expand the hours for its sixth-annual Food Truck Festival on May 16 to include lunch service. Local food trucks will now be at the museum from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. for the event.

Lake Hico: Closed by Racism?
Jim Crow-era segregation laws and customs prevented Lake Hico from interracial use until the late 1960s after the Civil Rights Movement and federal legislation officially ended segregation. The lake then closed to the public in 1968.
