On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, the People's Assembly Task Force held the second meeting at M.W. Stringer Grand Lodge.

At the start of the People’s Assembly on April 10, 2018, attendees broke off into four groups and rotated to four different stations for discussion.

The Jackson Free Press wrote in December that the People's Assembly is a process that flips government structure on its axis by funneling policies from the bottom to the top, using the people's demands as a way to influence laws, ordinances and policies, and not the other way around.
