STAND UP!

Dr. Robert P. Moses gave the keynote speech at the Old Capitol celebrating the Mississippi Freedom Summer of 1964. He spoke of the importance of education and history. Here are some photos. Be sure to go see the new exhibit at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History examining the courage, violence, and promise or the "long, hot summer."
