Gov. Phil Bryant (left) called Jackson’s difficulties a “concern for the entire Metro area” in his recent budget recommendation to the state legislature for next year. Mayor Tony Yarber (right) and the city council sent a list of requests to the same body during their last regular meeting on Nov. 29.
