Hickory native Mike Hurst, 39, resigned from his post as a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office to run for Mississippi attorney general. Hurst, who spent a decade with the USAO’s criminal division, is making prosecuting public corruption his No. 1 campaign issue.
