Stanley Alexander, a former Hinds County assistant district attorney and, until he ran for office, the head of the Mississippi attorney general’s public-integrity division, wants to be a tough prosecutor but intervene in the lives of young people. He’s also hitting hard at the incumbent district attorney’s record.
