9:30 a.m., Pearl River Valley Water Supply District board of directors, district office on Madison Landing, just off Rice Road, Ridgeland.

10 a.m., State Board of Education meets in the fourth-floor board room, Central High School Building, Griffith Street.

10 a.m., Parent/Teacher Conference Day. Parents will meet with teachers all day. Classes are cancelled. Parents are encouraged to set up appointments beforehand.
