Mississippi State and Ole Miss both advanced to Saturday's semifinals of the SEC Tournament with victories on Friday. The Bulldogs defeated Kentucky 84-82 in overtime in one of the most thrilling games of the year. The Bulldogs face Arkansas today (noon, Ch. 12/105.9 FM).

Meanwhile, Ole Miss will face top-seeded Florida (2:15 p.m., Ch. 12/97.3 FM). The Rebels defeated LSU 80-60 on Friday night.

In Birmingham, the Jackson State men and women have advanced to Saturday's SWAC Tournament title games. The Tigers will play Mississippi Valley State (5 p.m., ESPNU/1400 AM). The Lady Tigers will face Prairie View (3 p.m., ESPNU/88.5 FM).

Also Friday, the Delta State women advanced in the NCAA Division II regionals. The Lady Statesmen will play GSC rival Arkansas Tech (3:45 p.m., 930 AM) Saturday.

The news wasn't all good, though as the Mississippi College men lost in the Division III Sweet 16 for the third straight year.
