Ole Miss' baseball season ended Sunday with a 7-1 loss to Arizona State in Game 2 of the super regional at Tempe, Ariz. And the game wasn't as close as the score might indicate. There goes Doctor S' dream of an all-Mississippi College World Series championship. This is the third straight season the Rebels have lost in a super regional, falling one step short of reaching the CWS.

The coach should have brought in the closer in the beginning of the 9th of the 1st game. The coach lost it right there once he made the decision to stick with Kline even after he gave up a homer and a warning track fly ball in the 8th. Coach blew it!

Doctor S thought Bianco was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. Ole Miss' bullpen has done little recently to inspire any confidence. Cody Satterwhite changed from closer to gas can.
