Ward six council candidates answered questions from voters and shared their take on the issues during a debate Monday night.
Incumbent councilman Marshand Crisler and Democratic challenger Von Anderson spoke about city problems and solutions.
More than 100 people filled the Forest Hill High School auditorium to ask about road improvements, attracting more homes and businesses and crime.
One Jackson woman says she's not waiting until the elections to see if crime in the area improves.
Thieves used an ax to enter Erica Woods' front door at her south Jackson home Monday.
