Clarion-Ledger Endorses Musgrove, Tuck

So, here's a riddle: Why of the top four candidates' distasteful (at best) campaign tactics -- Musgrove ("poisoning"), Barbour and Tuck (race-pandering), Blackmon (abortion affidavit) -- would the Clarion-Ledger only call out Blackmon's campaign tactics? Were they really worse than Tuck's belated endorsement of the rebel flag?

And Tuck? Please. Note that, in the endorsement of Tuck, the Clarion-Ledger is apparently calling for more than the "meager" tort reforms that were passed in 2002. Here we go again.

We do agree, though, with their assessment of the education issue as the big divider between Musgrove and Barbour, as we said in our endorsements last week.

But Tuck? Please.

Read the C-L endorsements.
