The latest on the search for two men who authorities say shot at soldiers training at Camp Shelby in Mississippi (all times local):

2:30 p.m.

The Mississippi National Guard says soldiers reported shots fired during a training exercise at Camp Shelby, but no service members were hurt.

The Guard said in a news release Tuesday that the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center is secure and all personnel accounted for. The news release says the shots were fired from a road near Camp Shelby, but not on the military post's property.

Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith previously told WDAM-TV (http://bit.ly/1UlrHi6) that authorities were searching for two men who fired gunshots from a vehicle at the soldiers.

He told The Clarion-Ledger newspaper (http://on.thec-l.com/1IWcn9t) that deputies are at a residence where they found the vehicle, which he described as a red Ford Ranger with "broken arrow" written across the top.

2:25 p.m.

A Mississippi sheriff says deputies have found a vehicle matching the description of a truck driven by two males accused of shooting at soldiers while they were training.

Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith tells The Clarion-Ledger newspaper (http://on.thec-l.com/1IWcn9t ) that deputies are at a residence where they found the vehicle. Smith described that vehicle to WDAM-TV (http://bit.ly/1UlrHi6) as a red Ford Ranger with "broken arrow" written across the top.

Smith told the TV station that two males fired from the truck and then fled in the truck.

He also says he wants to talk to the soldiers involved to learn more about what happened.

2 p.m.

A sheriff in Mississippi says authorities are searching for two men who fired gunshots from a vehicle at soldiers at a military facility. No injuries were reported.

Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith tells WDAM-TV (http://bit.ly/1UlrHi6) that the shots were fired just after noon Tuesday. The soldiers were training at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Hattiesburg.

About 4,600 soldiers are participating in the training exercise, which is scheduled to continue through mid-August.

Smith says officers are searching for a two-door, red Ford Ranger with "broken arrow" written across the top. Authorities say they are looking for two white males who allegedly fired from the vehicle and fled in the vehicle.

Members of the Forrest County Sheriff's Department and the Mississippi Forestry Commission are assisting in the search.
