United Flight 1263 on route from Chicago to New Orleans developed a mechanical problem and landed at the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International airport at approximately 9:30 pm. There were no injuries to any passengers or crew members. United is arranging for a second aircraft to be brought to Jackson to continue the flight as planned.
