The FIGMENT FUN-raiser is Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m. at North Midtown Arts Center (121 Millsaps Ave.), and features DJ Young Venom, and DJ Hot and Lonely. Ages 21 and up, please. $5 cover.

FIGMENT Jackson brings the community together for a multi-day, family-friendly explosion of interactive creativity April 28-29. Highlights from last year's event included a life-size camera obscura, wearable sculptures and a 50-foot interactive model of the Pearl River.
