Ballet Mississippi hosts its annual spring performance of "Sleeping Beauty, Act III" on May 1. Ballerinas Margaret Severin-Hansen, principal dancer with Carolina Ballet, and Nicole Graneiro of the American Ballet Theater and February's Dance Magazine cover girl, will undoubtedly awe the crowd with their powerful performances. International Ballet Competition medalist Mikhail Illyin, also a member of the American Ballet Theatre and voted a "Dancer to Watch" in 2005 by Dance magazine, is one of today's foremost performers.
