This is the first time they have been in the top 25 in like what 30 years?...lol Enjoy it now cause they won't be anywhere near the top 25 by the end of the season, don't look for them to win but one of their last five games.

That's okay, it's enough for me that we are ranked while the Ole Miss Bears aren't! GO DAWGS!

Good to see the dogs in the midseason rankings. UM has been there at year end at least 3 times since we last heard from the men in maroon. At least one of our big programs is showing up this year.

@ Bubba T, Why would you think that MSU would only win one game in their last five? Looking at the schedule I can see the Bulldogs in every game. They have UAB this weekend, which should be a victory. Kentucky got a big win over South Carolina but it was at home and they have to travel to MSU after playing Georgia. Next up is a week off to get ready for Alabama. The Crimson Tide get State a home but with two weeks to get ready this should be a close game. Arkansas is at home the next week. Depending on how long Ryan Mallett is out, this becomes a very winnable game. Finishing the season is a road game to play the Gummy Bears. The Care Bears have not scared anyone this season. True this is a rivarly game but Panda Bears can be beaten. Even if State does lose to Alabama and Arkansas, they still have a fair chance to beat Kentucky and the Koala Bears. Plus they should get a victory over UAB. I can see three wins in the final five games.

The only thing I have in this debate, is this point right here? I hate Relf at quarterback, I rather see Russell, but Mullens offense is geared more for a guy like Relf, but for it to thrive he really needed to land Cam Newton, who is very happy @ Auburn right now. Relf is a little too timid and gun shy for me, seems like he is always ready to tuck and run. All in all, nice to see my wifes Alma Matter ranked in the top 25
