The tourney continues through Sunday (Friday, noon and 4 p.m. and 2 p.m., Ch. 3; Saturday, 3:30 p.m., Ch. 3; and Sunday, 2 p.m.). ... NBA basketball, Boston at Los Angeles Lakers (8 p.m., Ch. 16, 105.9 FM): Unless the Celtics win on Tuesday (which would be a victory for truth and beauty), they will meet the Lakers in this week's game of the century.

World Cup soccer, United States vs. Slovenia (9 a.m., ESPN): Now the pressure is on the Americans, who are expected to win their next two games and advance out of the group. ... PDL soccer, Mississippi at Atlanta (6:30 p.m., Alpharetta, Ga.): The Brilla battles the Blackhawks in suburban Hotlanta.

Saturday, June 19
College baseball, College World Series, teams TBA (1 p.m. and 6 p.m., ESPN): The College World Series begins its final year at venerable Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb. Next year, the CWS moves to a shiny new park that has all of the bells and whistles and none of the history.

Sunday, June 20
Movie, "The Male Animal" (3:15 a.m., TCM): Henry Fonda is a college professor whose career and marriage are in jeopardy at football-crazed Midwestern University in this amusing 1942 comedy-drama. The pep rally is priceless. ... PDL soccer, Mississippi at Nashville (3 p.m., Nashville, Tenn.): The Brilla conclude their eastern swing against the Metros. Hee-haw!

Monday, June 21
Movie, "Tin Cup" (7:30 p.m., Spike): Scruffy golf pro Kevin Costner gets himself off the driving range and into the U.S. Open.

Tuesday, June 22
Southern League, Mobile at Mississippi (7:05 p.m., Pearl): The M-Braves return home to open a five-game series against the Bay Bears at the T-P.

Wednesday, June 23
World Cup soccer, United States vs. Algeria (9 a.m., ESPN): It's time for more breakfast footy and a tie won't be enough for the Americans.
