[Stiggers] Funky Vibes

Brotha Hustle: "Aunt Tee Tee and I are back on the scene with our refurbished mini-DVD camcorder, portable work light and high-powered parabolic boom mic. This moment takes me way back to fond memories of that 1974 Francis Ford Coppola movie called 'The Conversation,' starring Gene Hackman and 'Shirley' from the television sit-com 'Laverne and Shirley.' Nevertheless, Aunt Tee Tee and I are ready like 'Eye Witness News at 5' to videotape some new material to upload on our Ghetto Tube channel.

"Tipsy Lee Jacobson, the unemployed wino, suggested that Aunt Tee Tee and I set up our video production gear at the Ghetto Rapid Transit Station's main terminal and videotape the activities of riders waiting for the Double Dutch Church Bus.

"Our Funky-Vibes-O-Meter detects that some funky stuff is about to happen. Working class folk have become so edgy, mean and depressed these days—scared to smile or say a positive word. Is the economy affecting our attitudes? Aunt Tee Tee's meter shows a strong funky vibes signal coming from two riders, and they are arguing. Aunt Tee Tee adds a telephoto lens to the mini-DVD camcorder to get a tighter shot and adjusts the sensitivity of the parabolic boom mic. She presses the record button to capture the action."

Rider #1: "Excuse me. What time is it?"

Rider #2 (screaming): "It's time for you to shut your freaking mouth and get a job—jerk!"

Brotha Hustle: "Whoa! A moment of pent-up anger and frustration caught on tape!"
