Before you go tonight's debate, head over to Nunnery's Gallery (426 Meadowbrook Road) for the opening reception of Tony Di Fatta's new show of abstract work, "Chaos and Order," starting at 5 p.m. Also tonight in Flowood, the opening reception for P. Sanders McNeal's sketches of Byron De La Beckwith's trial for the murder of Medgar Evers. The show hangs at the Bryant Galleries (3010 Lakeland Cove, Suite A, Flowood) through June 12.

Friday is the deadline for Jubliee!JAM artist applications. $2,500 in cash prizes will be awarded to exhibiting artists, so get your application done now. Go to the Jubilee!JAM Web site to apply and for additional info about the festival. Make sure to read about the JAM lineup here.

Friday is also your last chance to see the Power APAC Visual Arts Students Exhibit at the Arts Center of Mississippi.

Saturday, "The Dynamiter," a feature film directed by AFI Graduate Matthew Gordon and written by Brad Ingelsby will hold a casting call at their production office at 4005 N. North State Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are several principal roles for children ages 8-10 and several for children ages 14-18. If you are older, but able to play these ages please audition! Several roles are also available for adults including a grandmother, sheriff, school principal, and older brother. All races are needed. On Sunday, JFP columnist and PROJack Brad Franklin (aka Kamikaze) is debuting his new weekly radio program on MPB Think Radio. The show, "A Closer Look," airs at 2 p.m. Franklin will engage in lively, thought-provoking conversations with Mississippians of all stripes as he, his guests and listeners examine issues from all angles. "I want to engage in a conversation WITH you not talk AT you," said Franklin in a release. "I want "A Closer Look" to bring Mississippians together through a mutual dialogue. Listeners will realize that we are all connected by very similar experiences no matter what part of the state we live in." Listeners can participate in the conversations by calling 1-877-MPB-Ring.
