Power APAC Visual Arts Student Exhibit

Tomorrow is your last chance to see work from Power APAC visual art students, including Sade Montgomery (whose work is shown above), at the Arts Center of Mississippi.

Partnering with the Greater Jackson Arts Council, the Power APAC visual arts department presents their students' work in an exhibit at the Arts Center of Mississippi. I've always been amazed at the immense talent the visual arts students at Power APAC possess. Students as young as 10 years old have refreshing artistic insight into historical events, social situations and ordinary inanimate objects. While the exhibit highlights work from all the visual arts students grades 4-12, it assigns particular focus to the junior and senior high school students, who display a more mature, calculated style in their works. The exhibit is free, so go see it before it comes down May 15.
