Peaches top the new EWG list for produce you should always buy organic.

The Environmental Working Group, a non-profit organization that specializes in providing useful information and resources to consumers, has published their fifth edition of the now-classic "Shopper's Guide to Pesticides."

The guide lists the fruits and vegetables grown with the most and the least pesticides and EWG provides a pocket "Dirty Dozen/Clean 15" guide that shows what produce you should always try to buy organic.

Topping the "Dirty Dozen" this year are peaches, apples, bell peppers, celery and nectarines. At the other end of the spectrum, onions, avocado, sweet corn, pineapple and mango are grown with the fewest pesticides.

I got me a bottle of all-natural fruit & veggie wash to help remove some of the gunk.

I plan on going on an all fruit and vegetable diet, along with water, this weekend. I'm sure the good people at Rainbow Co-op will help me out on the organic stuff.
