Men's college basketball: Jackson State to face Texas Southern today in the first round of the SWAC Tournament. The Tigers are seeded second and have some unfinished business from 2009.

Men's college basketball: Two Mississippi State players earn All-SEC honors. Center Justin Varnado, who has blocked a nation's –best 143 shots this season, was named first-team All-SEC and the conference Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight year. Point guard Dee Bost was named the SEC All-Freshmen Team.
