Join the fun at the 35th Annual Jackson Music Awards tonight at Marriott Hotel starting at 6 p.m. Tonight's program, "Music, Its Magic," honors the best of Southern soul and hip hop, with awards in 32 categories.
Featured performers include: Bobby Rush, Big Robb, Omar Cunningham, Zac Harmon, Karen Wolfe, John Haley, Labrado, Dexter Allen, Sweet Angel, Rickey White, Andre Lee, High Frequency and Special Guest Young Steff.
Honorees on the local music scene include Jackson radio legends Heavy Herb Anderson, Bev Johnson, Julian Davis and Wade Graves. National honorees are Rogers Redding, Lee Parker and Zac Harmon.
Tickets are $30.00 reserved and $20.00 general admission, and are available at Bebop Record Shops, BIP Record Shop and on the Jackson Music Awards Web site.
