Is this guy still a Northside Sun columnist?

SUBJECT: FACT: "SWINE FLU" CASUALTY IN USA WAS A VISITING MEXICAN...NOT USA CITIZEN!!!

I just just got this e-mail from someone who clearly is out to tar Mexicans with the swine flu; he also sent it to media around the country, sending a great message out about Mississippi, I might add. Here it is in its entirety:

HOUSTON (AP) — A Mexico City toddler who traveled to Texas with family to visit relatives is the first confirmed death in the U.S. from swine flu.
The boy, who was nearly 2 years old, arrived in the border city of Brownsville with "underlying health issues" on April 4 and developed flu symptoms four days later, the Texas Department of State Health Services said. He was taken to a Brownsville hospital April 13 and transferred to the following day to a hospital in Houston, where he died Monday night.
The cause of death was pneumonia caused by the flu virus, Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos said. Texas Children's Hospital, where the boy died, said in a statement he was suffering from "acute respiratory illness." The hospital planned a news conference later Wednesday.

PLEASE...kindly report "the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!"

Thx,

The right-wing hate media has begun to try and put this on Mexicans in the U.S. Most cases of swine flu in the U.S., particularly the large number of cases at the high school in Queens, came from tourists who visited Mexico, thus meaning that American citizens mostly brought it over. Ain't it like the right-wing to exploit a potential epidemic for political points?

There is a special place in hell for people who would use this kind of tragedy to push bigotry.

There needs to be an extra-special place below Hell for this kind of bigotry. People always have to find a scapegoat: someone to blame. But a lot of their peoblems would be solved if they took one long look in the mirror and addressed their own faults.

Have you seen this? http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r56/otero1/?action=view¤t=300409email1.jpg http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r56/otero1/?action=view¤t=300409email2.jpg I love when people say to "close the boarder!" when it comes to this, seeing that it is completely irrelevant to the situation.

JOKeefe, not only is the doctor quoted in that link in hot water for his comments, but his original message has been added to and twisted as it was emailed from one person to the next. Go here to read about it. Looks like Republic Broadcasting needs to learn how to verify their info since they claim to be "real news." Chip, based on that link you shared, I wonder if Brother Dan is in "All WASPs Go To Heaven" mode.
