Hey Media: This is Ohio, NOT Mississippi

As disgusted as I've been with the ugly race hatred that Sarah Palin has stirred up around the country, there is one tiny bright spot for me: The country is seeing how hypocritical they are when they pretend that racism is only in the South. Yes, we still have some, but they do, too. Gov. Palin is helping prove it. Here's a video of an Ohio Palin rally broadcast by Al Jazeera:

This is an excerpt of her comments to the crowd that day, equating Obama with terrorists:

"Help me, Ohio, to help put John McCain in the White House," she said. "He understands. He understands you. We understand how important it is that this team be elected. For one thing, we know who the bad guys are, OK?"

That statement elicited scattered shouts of "Obama!" throughout the crowd.

"We know that in the war, it's terrorists, terrorists who hate America and her allies and would seek to destroy us, and the bad guys are those who would support and sympathize with the terrorists," she said. "They do not like America because of what we stand for. Liberty. Freedom. Equal rights. Those who sympathize and support those terrorists who would seek to destroy all that it is that we value, those are the bad guys, OK?"

Meantime, it was her husband who was an actual member of an anti-American organization started by people who wanted to destroy our country. I swear you just believe the opposite of everything this woman says.

I'll be doggone. I thought I was watching an interview in Philadelphia, Mississippi after the 3 Civil Rights Workers were located or in Forsyth, Georgia when blacks came to visit or inLouisville, Mississippi when we asked to get some of that blacktop on our dirt roads too. I'm unaware we're desirious or able to take over. Or that we hate whites. Now I know we're considered 2nd class. And yes I know it's beleived we all have hidden agendas by many whites. They know we should have some considering all the abuse and domination suffered for so long. The abuses causes all kinds of unnecessary fears, delusions, illusions and detractions in the perpertrators. He who is without fault worries far less than he with multiple faults or he that is lost in denial or fleeing from the truth of the matter.

Wow. I am so glad I live in Mississippi. Seriously! And I think I'm developing an allergy to ignorance. I've got another migraine...

Looks like the American people are muzzling the foul-mouthed pitbull. LOL: Maybe the McCain camp changed their strategy after seeing yesterday’s polls showing negative hits - terrorist Bill Ayers, etc. - are hurting, not helping John McCain. Or maybe Gov. Sarah Palin read the ditch-the-nastiness signs that greeted her at Dover High School yesterday morning. “My America is Kind,” read one. “Fanning the Flames of Hatred is Dangerous,” read another. They were right next to the life-sized polar bear who held up his own message for Palin, “You’re Darn Tootin’! Polar Bears Deserve Protection!” Whatever the explanation, Sarah Palin, heretofore McCain’s pitbull with lipstick, was mostly lipstick on her swing through this swing state. She was tougher in off-stage interviews, but on the podium, not a word about “terrorists” or the ranting Rev. Wright. She didn’t repeat her ominous line: Obama’s not a man “who sees America as you see it or I see it.” There were none of the typical, wild shout-outs either from the capacity crowd of 1,200, with hundreds more turned away. The only “socialist!” cry came during Sen. John Sununu’s introduction.

Don't take this as painting Hillary in unflattering colors...and ditto for Hillary's supporters... but... ...I think we now see why Hillary got so much more support among certain whites than Obama did. All I'm saying is that Hillary gained support from those who'd rather have a white woman as president than a black man.
