Well, at least the world and the media re going to figure out there is something going on in Mississippi besides what Trent Lott, Haley Barbour, et al, have made us look like.

Cups and Broad Street, huh? Definitely aiming at a young demographic. She's young herself (28?) and Obama is aiming at young people, so why not?

It's really nice to have Mississippi count in a primary. I might try and swing by Broadstreet.

Right, golden. What a mess. Why will so many men (and some women) put *everything* on the line for a cheap (or expensive) thrill??? It does remind us, though, of the man who is trying to be the First Man, eh? Who is guaranteeing us no more gutter antics in the White House? Hell, he'd have a lot of time on his hands this time. Just imagine what Restless Willy could get himself into this while his wife is preoccupied with presidential duties. I shudder to think. In four years, we could have another Republican revolution based on Bill's inability to control his urges with a fresh batch of interns. Everytime Hillary Clinton talks about her "experience," I think of the "experience" her hubby put the country through. No thanks, people. Go home to Westchester and get richer. We've been down this road, and it's what led to the Bush adminstration. We'd be fools to go back there.

Re reaching younger voters ... WAPT reported that Chelsea spoke to about 85 people at Tougaloo tonight, while Obama spoke to 8,500 just in the main venue, not counting the overflow building. Bless Chelsea's heart; she seems to be the best of the lot from what we've seen so far. And my heart does break for what her father put her through—in the same house she lived in. But, again, that doesn't mean the family should get another pass at the White House.

Just another thing to distract us from the real issues facing this country. Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" is apropos right about now.

Agreed. The reason personal integrity is so important is that it indicates skewed priorities and a willingness to be distracted by sillliness. Clinton sold our country—and progressives—out for cheap thrills. That, my friends, is the bottom line. 'Night, all.

Bless Chelsea's heart; she seems to be the best of the lot from what we've seen so far. CNN showed the scene of her speaking outside the courthouse in Batesville...maybe it's me, but she is starting to look like her mother. And I do feel for her as well. I do think her parents did quite as well as far as shielding her from the public eye when she was young. But I knew in the back of my mind that she would end up campaigning for Hillary, especially when Obama was reeling off those consecutive victories up until last Tuesday.

We got to meet her this morning at Broad Street. She's 28, definitely looks like her mother, and is *way* more poised than I could have hoped to be while in my 20s. Not sure that Broad Street counts as "going after the younger demographic." Plenty of us 40-somethings, along with a smattering of younger folks, as well as some grandparent types (several sporting their "I voted" stickers).

I met Chelsea this morning and I was sincerely impressed with her depth of knowledge and her attention to detail. She didn't rush the people that wanted to "meet & chat" She gave intelligent & comprehensive answers to the questions posed to her. And yes, she looks like her mom. Is that a bad thing? And yes, she's campaigning for her mom. Is that a bad thing? I would only hope that my kids could support me in any worthwhile endeavors as I certainly try to be completely supportive of what they want to do. That's what family is about. And you are right Kate - I wished that I could have been that poised and aware in my 20s. Hey, the girl was raised "well", kudos to Hillary & Bill.

lanier77 - I love it that she looks like her mom. And, I do think that the elder Clintons deserve alot of credit (despite other faults) for what a great young woman she's turned out to be. She's 28 now, so she was about 12 when she moved into the White House. Not an easy place to go through puberty. But she certainly seems to have inherited the brains and charm of her parents. But man, if little Chelsea Clinton is 28 and has a graduate degree, then that means we are all getting old.

Well, your series of pictures capturing every angle and facial expression of Chelsea remind me of a couple of stalker type films where they use the camera to capture (no pun intended) the way a stalker sees his subject of desire. I figured you just had a few straight on press type photos. Just having a little fun. I'm sure she is safe! ;-)
