Ole Miss is going to the Cotton Bowl, where the Rebels will play Texas Tech on Jan. 2 (1 p.m., Ch. 40/97.3 FM). The last time the Rebels went to a bowl game was in 2003, when Ole Miss played Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl. Another fun fact: This will be the last Cotton Bowl played in the Cotton Bowl.

Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt will have a little extra money to spend in Big D.
