You should know that the US Justice Department, the Intelligence Division of the Louisiana State Police & others have been contacted about the recent spike in Klan, Aryan Nation & Nationalist groups. However, this must be understood. If the boys did in fact, do the crime as described on Crosstar by Justin Barker, himself; then we are in serious trouble in America. Morris Dees & Southern Poverty Law Center have joined with the other 4 to 5 groups to take Theo Shaw & Robert Bailey from their original attorneys! They have instructed their clients to not speak with the media; which leaves Tina Jones - Bryant Purvis' mother, the odd one out! The capitlailst have not been able to infiltrate her mind! You see, the system wants to lock up 3 boys or 4 at the most! Why? Because the boys had the nerve to actually beat at white boy down. Plus, the Klan will not allow; Theo Shaw or Robert Bailey, Jr., to live to a ripe old age. These are just the facts! But, if justice is not the same across the table, then I needed to make us aware that we are not fighting for Mychal because he's not sqeaky clean. Who is? LaSalle Parish has its own to deal with, in light of 50 years of suppresion & stateside persecution to repress ALL THE PEOPLE and to keep everyone confused. The D.A. does not rejoice at the the fact Mychal Bell has to have change after this ordeal and has a mind to better equip himself for the time in the present. The D.A., the JUdge, the Louisiana Legislature & the Congress must CALL for Mychal Bell to be released on grounds of UNEQUAL JUSTICE at once.

Few people are still afraid of the klan anymore. My advise is to get guns and shoot back. And by all means, shoot back plentifully. Kamikaze, I bought the best rap compacr disc of all times this weekend. It's called Never Forget: A Journey of Revelations by Dr. Cornell West. He did using some great rappers what I have been trying to get many of you to do - talk about the conditions of black folks, the world, love, beauty and worth our soul sisters, politic, America's treatment f black folks, the domineering aspects of the powerful and wealthy, the sustainability of black folks and males despite our unique obstacles, et al, without so much or any profanity. There weren't any abuses or hatred of the black woman and no one's mind is being poisoned. It's a fusion of mixture of Motown, TSOP, STAX, rap and hip-hop or a fusion or mixture of the blues, jazz and gospel with great artist such as Gerald Levert, Talib Kweli, Lenny Wiiliams (old School), Andre 300, Prince, Dave Hollister, KRS ONE, Jill Scott and a host of other great rappers and vocalists I've never heard of. There is one cut called Keep'in it P.I. where he talks about the Lawrence Summers incident that led to his resigning from Harvard and going back to Princeton. As you may or may not know, the president wanted him to leave rap alone and return to writing. He figured, like me, why couldn't he do both. Finally, there is a long discussion about the N-word by Tavis Smiley, Cornell West and Michael Eric Dyson that is hilarious. In case you don't know, Cornell has that has that double A phi thing in common with you, goldenae and me. I surely hope a way is found to promote this compact disc. It should be loved on college campuses.

Agreed, Lady. One of the best things that can happen is for scum to rise to the surface, and expose their real bigotries, so that society can try to help them or turn their back on them and stop enabling them. It's happening so often around here these days as people expose their real beliefs. This shouldn't be a war between black and white as it was 40 years ago. People like this are cowards. Even when they had the power, they hid behind sheets. If they wanted to confront people head on, they would. They just want to stir up negative sentiment so their misery can have company. I do not worry about knuckle heads like them because if they really had coward, they would show it. Not to mention that they are so consumed with hate that they can not be productive. Lets compare the recent arrest where the young white guys in Jena were going to drive through the crowd with the nooses hanging from their truck. I have never looked at a screen name as hiding, but the page's host chose to give my whole name in his response. They fly jumbo jets, sit at the heads of the corporate tables, serve as directors and CEO of some of the major companies in the US. and are major players in City, County and State Government. I'm not saying that all of the people in these positions are Klansmen: I'm only giving the demographics and the Robeless/Hoodless dress code. The New Klan has also integrated the likes of Clarence Thomas, frank melton, Bluntson and the Black Federal D.A. who was interviewed about the "Jena 6" and could not connect the dots between the ropes hanging on the tree and the boy(s) who beat the hell out of the symbolic white who put the ropes on the tree. The idea was to put to death the young men involved in this altercation. 21 years in prison for a 16 year old is a death sentence and it is a fact that if the Judge's decision had been stayed, we would have seen a domino effect. (All six would suffer the same punishment). With so much attention on Jena, LA, these young boys could not be killed as were Chaney, Goodman and Schwerner: The powers that be Symbolically KILLED THE TREE and removed the stump.

I didn't say klan-like behavior didn't exist any more. I've said countless times that white supremacy is alive and well throughout the world including its neice and nephew - racism and prejudice. If so many people are afraid of the klan now then why aren't the same cautions or measures being employed any more to out-man and destroy them? The klan clearly can't run up into houses and churches any more without the return of violence or some kind of latent revenge. Ray I think whats being said is that there is a climate that still allows for that type of mentality..Most of us arent afraid of the Klan. But are still some small towns (and I think that Jena is one of them) where the Klan still makes its presence known. Especially in areas where the sheriff, DA, the cops and judges went to school together, go to church together, and are all around good ole boys. When the deck is stacked like that its easier to make that kind of racism work. You already know, the Klan, Arayan nation, Skinheads and the like are suffering from a severe membership decline LOL..But I dont doubt that they are poised for a rebirth. And just as this event as aroused black folks its aroused them too. that website has probably gotten thousands of hits and someone is going to buy into their rhetoric. Hell, instead of working to wipe out the Panthers in the 60's through Cointelpro and outright bullying they should have used those same tactics to wipe out the Klan. Damn shame the Panthers arent around but there are still small cells of Klan activity everywhere. Jackson and surrounding areas included.

Not much to know unless there is neighborhood stuff not mentioned. As far as punishment, I don't think these kids should be charged with anything that cannot be expunged from their record after they pay their dues. And, I don't think anyone of them should serve jail time, unless they have a habit of wrongdoing. I think all of them need serious counseling. Time will tell who in this group is 'good' and who wants to be 'bad' as they grow older. That said, I do think 'hate' was at the base of the attack. But, they are not acting at a level of the KKK or Neo-Nazi group. I do think unless we see more of this on youtube, and the news, then the ugly head of racism will just continue to breed stupid people of all races who hold us back from living a more harmonious life in this melting pot of ours. What the DA, the police, the administrators, and (especially) the hate groups are doing to the Jena 6 are partially what fuels the senseless attacks elsewhere. When will the vicious circle end? This is from an ESPN forum about M Vick. Comments on that later in the Vick thread. This person is trying to say that the real news is Jena 6, not Vick: You know whats sad about all of this? There is a real race issue going on in Lousiana -- it was highlighted on Bill Maher's show with Mos Def on 9/7 - a group of white kids and a group of black kids got into a fight. The whites were charged with battery and given probation, the blacks are sitting in prison being charged with 2nd degree attempted murder... OK, I agree with his point, and I am glad he is seeing the big picture. What worries me is that he is getting his facts on this from Bill Maher and Mos Def.
