Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard that Simpson has been arrested this past weekend for an alleged armed robbery in which he claims that he was retrieving stolen sports memorabilia that he says belonged to him. In the accompanying video, there are clips from an audio recording of the incident, courtesy of TMZ.com, where you can hear Simpson shouting expletives at his accusers. He is in isolation, and no bail has been set, which doesn't surprise me considering the white Ford Bronco chase that happened over a decade ago.

It seems OJ misread or misinterpreted the proverbial axiom "Go West, Young Man." After all, he's sixty now and fled West for Florida 13 years ago, after being accused and acquitted of killing his wife and her friend. Formerly, I though OJ was receiving $20,000 per month from a football pension. His former agent said last night on Sly as Fox that OJ was getting about $30,000 from his football pension and another $30,000 from a business pension per month. Sixty thousand per month comes to $780,000.00 per year. Even after taxes I would think this is enough money to go raise your two children properly and celebrate quietly beating the system. But OJ is not a regular human being. Let's assume "If I Did It" and knew I had gotten away with killing two innocent white people in the United States of America. Let's assume further that I was really rich and beloved back then and had Johhnie Cochran as my lawyer, who is now deceased. Let's assume, moreover, I only make a measly $60,000.00 a month now. What would you or I do? I wouldn't go to any town that had Los or Las as its first name. I wouldn't hang around people carrying guns unless they were trained body guard of mines with good temperment and character. Most of all, if I got accused of anything by anybody, no matter how large or small, I would shut up immediately and get a lawyer to advise me what to do. OJ didn't look or sound pretty or handsome as he entered the hotel to retrieve his stolen or confiscated property last evening, or as he walked handcuffed to the patrol car. Where was the "Y'all Kiss My Rump Swagger that he's famous for?" OJ is abusing drugs for sure. One of my friends from Las Vegas called early this morning saying OJ woke everybody up at the jail this morning screaming "Johnny, help me." A jailer reported hearing a voice striking similar to Johhnie saying "____ you." Lord help those children. I hope the pension money can still be paid each month on behalf of the children in the event OJ won't need any money to live for a while. Apparently, OJ thought if he didn't personally have a gun or use any force, he wouldn't be guilty of armed robbery, conspiracy or anything else. As one of my uncle used to say, "some folks is just crazy as hell, and you can't help them enough."

Fame and attention are also like drugs for people who need those things so desperately to have esteem, worth and joy. I feel sorry for people who need the attention of others for completeness. Add those drug-like additions or needs to some cocaine or other drugs and you got a fool on the loose headed for destruction. Look at Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears and many more of late. It seems to me that leaning to yourself, love ones and the Almighty is the way to go. Juice still needs his mother to be all he can be. Too many others are still using and kissing his butt. OJ was acting, prior to the arrest, like he was back in the big times - smiling at the cameras and doing hand gestures, just as the old days. With his book (If I Did It or as Goldman calls it, I Did It) coming to bookstores soon he knew he was back in the news big time and loving it. Where were Al Cowling, Arnelle or other love ones to tell OJ to chill out? Why would he need to retake any items for memory? Was he so high he couldn't remember he won or received those things once upon a time. The story about not trusting the police isn't persausive. I don't blame him for not trusting them. However, I blame him for thinking he could play police and not pay a high price. After all, OJ is just a regular brother now, whether he knows or believe it yet.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks that the DA in Vegas is over blowing things a bit. I mean No Bail. That seems a bit harsh? He wasn't even armed. Yes, I know that if one assailant has a weapon, it's like they all had one in some cases. Then you have LVPD letting one of the suspects go under the watch of a hotshot attorney in LA. Come on. Something isn't right here besides OJ, and his 'sting operation' gone bad. No bail! It's not like the guy is going to kill someone.... sorry, I had to go there. ;-) Though this case did re-brief me on his history, and Melton totally suffers from the same personality traits that OJ does. Ray, is right about fame and money. It is a killer combination for those with feeble minds. Maybe Simpson figured if Frank Melton can go busting up houses, and toting guns onto porches in the middle of the night, so could he!

Pike, I hope OJ has an out also. I admit I'm a little partial to OJ in this. He and I both have rather large heads, and as far as I'm concerned large head brothers should stick together. Even if the sting/arrest was a set up or isn't as authentic, real or iron-clad as the press or LVPD are leading us to believe, I still fault OJ for being dumb enough to wind up in such situation. Did he forget millions of people hate him and want him behind bars. The Almight has truly blessed OJ but he seems unthankful or too far gone to appreciate it. Go juice! Leave that stuff alone.

Marion Berry from Itta Bena, Mississippi, and Kamikaze and my fraternity brother, clearly came to that hotel to sleep with that women. Not for drugs. The reason he didn't prevail on entrapment is because he had a predispositon to use drugs - he was a drug addict. To succeed on entrapment you can't be predisposed and your free will has to be overwhelmed or overcomed by an inducement that you're not predisposed to engage in. Merely providing an opportunity is not entrapment.

A picture of OJ will be on the front and the writing on the back. They're well worth the money. I'm getting them made in China on a Wal-Mart hook-up to increase the profits to help defray legal expenses. The DA has succeeded in getting some of OJ's friends to turn on him. The dude I saw on television named Alexander looks like he'll turn on his mother to save a day of going to jail. Fortunately, the guy (Riccio or something like that) who taped the matter said OJ wasn't aware that anyone had guns. This is helpful, even if not enough to guarantee an acquittal at this point. Hopefully, we can get enough talent on the team to free OJ again. My jokes and satire will be better tomorrow after listening to Leno tonight.

O.J. seems to have some serious issues. He is the perfect example of why cops need to be completely legit and competent. If the cops had not planted evidence and mishandled other evidence, we would know what the deal was with O.J. We can all speculate, but honestly, I would not bet my life either way when tainted evidence is involved. I very much dislike crooked cops. They mess up the entire system. Like O.J. or hate him, I would not want anyone convicted when you have blood samples from the lab at the crime scene. All bets are off at that point. But O.J. constantly does things that shows he is off. Its also has to be a sad existence for the Goldman's to be consumed with "getting" O.J. I have thought about this before, but when I get to Heaven, one of the first things I want to know is what really happenned that night those two people were killed.

OJ is a good test of race relations in America. In a small sense, he was Jack Johnson without all the hate thrown at him. Jack Johnson likely always had some racial pride which he wasn't afraid to show. OJ is another story as to this. OJ was likely beyond race like Tiger and Jordan probably are. However, once you allegedly or, in fact, commit a crime, especially a major one, in the eyes of many, you become just another bad negro who can't overcome your destiny or true color, image and desires for what many white males believe belong to them exclusively. I can't wait to see if the black male image will be assassinated again. I think this has already started. Good Morning America, a show I like a lot, did a feature this morning showing OJ in an apparent all white club dancing or wilding with young white women, and Fox can't stop talking about OJ's past. Before it's all said and done, the story will likely be no matter how accomplished black males become, no matter the degree of acceptance, no matter the money or fame, in the end, they're still a beast who want what they shouldn't have and don't deserve, and they will do all kinds of crimial and immoral things to get it. Oj is a slow learner. I saw him in an interview where he told the interviewer that his mother taught him to get right with God and to not worry about what other say and do. This was good advise by a brillant and loving parent who knew outside forces are often corrupt users and abusers. But OJ was intoxicated by fame, attention, arrogance, the need for approval of the wrong people and unfortunately cocaine and other drugs, too. Something was likely bound to happen again sooner or later. I blame only OJ for his predicament. However, I intend to see him free again. Order your shirts now. "Think you can just steal my sh1t."

Don't be scared to partake in this conversation LW, Eagle, Golden and Iron. We can get thru this thing together. It's not right for the system to collectively go after or try to make an example out of OJ for allegedly beating the system before as many think he did. OJ will have able counsel whether he can afford the big guns or not. There are lots of unknown big guns who will represent him just for the attention, fame (infamy), and notice that comes along with him. Thanks Big Tee. We Tougaloo grads aren't scared to talk about anything. I've said countless times before that I believe OJ killed Nicole and Ron. Kim Goldman said neither her daddy nor she knew who OJ were prior to the killings. They must have lived under a rock out there in Cali. Now sadly neither seem able to move past him. I wish the Goldman the best, and unfortunately they may be disappointed again. I expect OJ to run thru those holes again, just like he did in the snow in Buffaloo and beautiful weather in sunny California. I know OJ is no Jack Johnson. However, Jack kind of likes beating up white boxers and laughing at his haters at the same time. Jack was real in his fight for manhood and respect. The OJ situation is an interesting study on race. Most of white America can not see how he could have been set up and most of black America does. I am just a little skeptical because I have seen too many stories on people on death row with rock solid cases against them and they turn out to be innocent. If OJ killed those people, he will get what is coming to him. But if he did not, a lot of people have added to their list by continuously persecuting him. My sister was killed by a drunk driver and my parents did not spend their lives trying to get that person back. Sometimes you just have to let things go. People also forget that the LAPD has been shown to be a cesspool, full of Mark Furhmans. The OJ situation should have prompted us to want to purge ourselves of crooked cops. Its said to say, but a lot of blacks felt that even if OJ was guilty, it was about time that the judicial system worked in favor of a black person and not be rigged against. Hopefully justice will prevail.

This is such a sad story and I was a follower of the OJ saga. Some thing that we can not forget, as the world attempt to make Nicole, Ron and their family members the saints in this issue, are as follows: OJ was married with children and from the pains and heartaches of his then wife, Margarete(sp) she experienced a hell on earth as Nicole, Denise and Faye Resneck emotionally beat her to the canvass. This was all fun and game as the young cheer leader and wasitress would call their home and wait outside for a hug. I guess you see where I'm going with this: no disrespect for the deceased but, Nicole was living on borowed time. Many women would have blown her up many year before she was killed. After all, would this have been a crim of passion it Margarete had taken her life? Faye Resneck was living with Nicole and her kids and only two days before Nicole was killed, Faye checked into a drug treatment center. It is not everyday that drug addicts voluntarily admit themselves to treatment. You either owe the dealer or you have totally hit rock bottom. Many of the jurors thought that the hit was on Faye and not Nicole. There is a possibility that OJ did not kill Nicole and Ron. I do know that OJ spent millions on Nicole's family. He financed a Hertz Rental Car Co. for Mr. Brown, Nicole's father and set the mom up in a flower shop. He financed fine cars, clothes, jelwery, a beautiful home, durgs and a lifestyle representative of the rich and famous for Nicole and her family. The Golmans has no relationship with their son and that includes the sister. Denise admitted earlier in the case that her relationship with Nicole was often "shakey." Now the folks are trying to get every dime for people they seemingly cared absolutely nothing about. They should get jobs and stop trying to pretend that they are looking out for Sidney and Justin. They are not! I'm sure that there are many things that will come out in this new OJ mess; however, initially the guy at the hotel said that he invited OJ and that he (OJ) did not have a gun. If the loot was stolen from OJ and being sold, I can understand his frustration. Yes, he could have called the police and....." If this man is truly innocent of these murders and have lost so much, I do understand how one becomes "SICK AND TIRED." This falls under the "Make My Day" clause.

OJ should have known better, but do you think calling the cops was an option for him? As for the murders, my biggest problem are the blood spatter at the crime scene that had EDTA(lab preservative). And the other was that if he have seen OJ walk, he is darn near cripple. I think more people would believe he hired someone than did it himself. Where OJ did foul up with this recent incident is that by soliciting help to "take care of some business", he demonstrated he is thinks like that.

Golden and Justjess. I have most of the bestselling books written on the killings in my library at home including the ones written by Darden, Johnnie, Marcia, et al. I have read about the DNA contamination and have met Dr. Baden and Dr. Lee, the foremost experts in the case. I even met Werner Spitz, another renowned expert who declined to work on the case. Moreover, I have met Neufeld, Scheck, Bailey, Douglas, Chapman and Cochran and listened to all discuss the case at legal conferences. I have even met Greta VanSustern (sic), Fox host, who is a friend of Dennis Sweet. I listened to her discuss the murders with the OJ's team of successful lawyers. There is plenty room to believe OJ was innocent as the jury decided. There is also lots of room to believe he was guilty which I happen to believe he is. It doean't matter now because he was acquitted. Golden two of my favorite brothers were killed and I harbor no hatred at alll toward the killers. We didn't even prosecute. Hate is a bad and worthless emotion and impulse. Moving on is the best thing we ever did. Having the whole event taped is too much for me. Why is there a tape recording of the whole thing? Why not just have the police come in the room and watch. Better yet, why in the hell was OJ in this mess? He had to be tricked. OJ is crazy but not dumb.

I heard Baden speak on the subject when I was studying Forensic Science and Medical Technology and he had his doubts. I tried to take all things into account. Ray Carter, you have some extensive history with the OJ group and I must admit that OJ made STARS out of many of those folks. I think that Cris Darden probably made less than anyone and for some reason, he just couldn't find his nitche. He seemed so mean spirited. I know that he had a job to do but, darn! Greta continues her relationship with Fox and even with plastic surgery, she still looks like Greta. Mark Furman made it BIG, also. He was the plant man for the glove and other drips of blood. This was another desiding piece of evidence. Too little blood for such terrible murders. It makes you wonder why do men like F0urman be given any credit knowing that he is a liar and planted evidence. I hope that OJ will not be the fugitive and his innocence be proven by one of his children long after much more suffering is done.

I'm amazed anyone would listen to Furman. He's smart but is also exactly what the trial showed he was. The trial was the best thing to ever happen to Darden financially. He lost the DA job but made bank from his book, which I claim is the best of all of them. He became a law professor for a while and purchased a mansion to cry in afterward. Darden is Kamikaze and my fraternity brother and I felt sorry for him the whole time. I hated Johnnie initially for how Johnnie treated Darden until I finally figured out why Johnnie was doing it. Also, after meeting Johnnie, my opinion of him totally changed. Johnnie was a wonderful person and great lawyer. Darden emotionalisn got the best of him, including allowing him to be tricked into having OJ to try on the glove which backfired irreparably and helped free OJ.

Now it's being reported the Las Vegas authorities are trying to add kidnapping and coercion to the charges against OJ. If the initial charges are so solid why do they keep adding stuff? The facts of the case only, not the past or public sentiments, should be the driving force. I bet the prosecutor, judge and everybody else will want to become stars at OJ sequel. My favorite starring judge was the guy in Anna Nicole Smith's Hearing. I'm surprised Hollywood hasn't starred him in his own drama featuring him as leading man. He was good, and cried more than Danlynn upon needing a diaper change. Somebody said lawyers were a bunch of hoes. Put a television before them and they all start selling themselves like happy to be at work hoes. Especially those lawyers out west. "Give me my ... stuff back, and don't say another ... word. After watching television last night, it appears they have put the book down, and are now trying to throw the courthouse at OJ. And to give Riccio, the taper and schemer, complete immunity. Alexander has immunity too, I think. What's going on? Why do they keep escalting? OJ has Buffalo Soldier blood running thru his veins and will make one last great run. I have no doubt about it. I emailed all my college buddies about this case, and they said, Johnnie Cochran, Billy Martin, me and lots of other great lawyers couldn't save OJ this time. I'm not great but I do kick a little tail every now and again. Nancy Grace was at her all time ugly self last night. I kept waiting for her to jump on her broom and fly off. Brothers and sister, send money now, so that we can hire some more grenade-throwing and bomb-dropping lawyers to help OJ. We may even need some suicide bomber this time. I won't have any problems supporting OJ this time as he's seriously being set up and mistreated by nefarious people he thought were his buddies and a revengeful injustice system that has run amuck/astray.

Bail was agreed at $125,000.00. The juice should be loose soon and lining up a group of gladiator-styled lawyers Yale take on Viva Las Vegas. OJ is out. At Yale Galanter's urging OJ emailed me, via blackberry, moments ago saying to tell the readers, should there be any left, that haterism is a curable disease. Furthermore, he said that since he's apparently wanted in America, dead or alive, he was going home with his children and woman, and would be good from now on, until this matter is behind him. He furthermore wanted me to tell Nancy Grace, Greta Van Susteren (although she's ok), Dan Abrams, Heraldo and prosecutors thruout the nations "to go to hell." He was talking a little bit out of his head too, because he also said to tell those same people above that if they wanted something to really do nigthly shows about to purchase or steal some of his memorabilia and he would be gladly visiting shortly to get back his sh!t. I hope he was only joking about that. But as a loyal friend and supporter I pass the news on as given.

True, true, Gold. Similarly, Yale, OJ's lawyer, was talking to the prosecutors as the press and legal experts ranted endlessly aout bail and other matters. As usual, the lawyer knew things the public won't ever know. Prosecutors often have such bad tunnel vision that once you spring a surprise on them or block their paths in anyway they stumble awfully. I hate to listen to legal experts who have been prosecutors only. Too many beleive they're mini-gods. And what terrible mini-gods they make. Hopefully, OJ will hug his children, kiss the girlfriend then head to drug and alcohol treatment. He had to be high to fool with Riccio, the schemer and tape recording individual, who not only has a criminal record of 4 felonies, but looks like a confidential informant of some sort and a ready hiree for anything nefarious and recompensable.

Ghost, most criminal lawyers aren't in any hurry to resolve a case. Especially when you have a good paying client. After all, Ghost, a large percentage of us have whore-like features. It's estimated OJ still has assets of about 3 millions and has secretly made hundred of thousands so that Goldman can't get it. The defense lawyer can use OJ's case for fame and a financial windfall from future clients. He merely needs to win, which may not be a mere gig the way things still look so far. Lots of work will be done prior to trial to limit evidence and weed out the weak and unprovable charges. Don't worry Gold, I will stay on the beat, providing minute by minute coverage. I may even go out there to Vegas so as to provide a live feed.

Yet, you think it's low to defend OJ, and I imagine, you think it's even lower, to do it zealously and well. I don't begrude the lawers who represented Timothy McVey. Friends and countrypersons, lend me your ears as I may this final report. For a while that is. I'm happy to report that Oenthal James is back in sunny and beautiful Florida, having spent much of the night partying without alcohol and drugs, and giving and receiving love from his lesions of fans and supporters. The old back is getting back to normal too after having been wrongly forced to sleep on iron and rocks at the Clark County Detention Center. He got up about 30 minutes ago, and is now reportedly eating a hearty and healty breakfast prepared by his woman as he laid in bed. He's now looking at the oceanside and sky as he thanks God for being so good to him. The ocean breezes, sounds of violins and Sachmo's tender voice serenades his soul and spirit as the orchestra plays, What A Wonderful World.

Ray how about this theory I heard on ESPN: That all parties were privy to this set-up, possibly including the Goldman's. The theory goes that OJ wanted the hyped press so that the book may sell better. Reason being is that after the Goldman get back the $33 million they won off OJ in the civil suit, that he will be free of that case too. As of now, he has to hide his money, and not make a living per say. Not that he is going to get a movie roll; but, he could do more signings, etc... But, if they get their money then he is free to try to live the normal life of a free killer. ;-)

Pike, Goldman's hate for OJ is so grand and vice versa that I can't see the two of them getting together for anything. Fred Goldman wants OJ dead or locked up indefinitely, and is likely blind to any other options. Pike, I must commend you as a white person for not having any apparent unnecessary hate of OJ. Strikingly, lots of white people hate OJ with a special feeling reserved for only a select few. That hatred is so thick in many that they're not even reasonable and rational when it comes to OJ. This is partially the reason I'm having so much fun playing with this topic. I would actually find it redemptive and even cathartic or catharsis to learn Goldman could move past OJ and live the rest of his life less burdened by the likelihood that OJ killed his son. They say money makes strange bedfellows. I don't know that money can do anything strange in this case between these individuals. Unless OJ has found the real killer, and Goldman is now convinced it's not OJ.

Thanks. I think I lost more faith in the system over OJ after the trial then OJ per say. For the oldest generations, they had Fatty Arbuckle to expose the system. In the 50's and 60's it was the lack of justice for blacks that damaged the system more. Today, we see famous people getting off left and right. Yet, every now and then we get it right, as seen by those famous people that don't fool the system. I hope that the proactive approach the NFL is taking carries over into other sports and industries. We coddle our famous people or those most valuable to a company a bit too much.

The truth of the matter is, I couln't stand OJ before he got arrested for the murders in LA. Nobody black could get him to do anything for any causes to improve the lots of black folks. Perhaps he thought his dating habits and friendships with many whites were bettering race relations. I was stunned he was found not guilty, but couldn't quarrel with the decision because of the contamination of evidence, the LA police department's corruption, and the get-back punch that was delivered at the almighty system. Like many black folks I was hopeful OJ would appreciate having dodged a bullet and would live an exemplary life of raising his children and moving on afterward. But OJ is intoxicated by arrogance, fame and need for attention. He wanted to be OJ again. The new case and all the factors surrounding it, including the scoundrels involved, has for the first time since OJ was at USC caused me to pull completely and unhestantly for OJ to prevail. I do believe these new charges are a bunch of bull crap and I'm hopeful he can defeat all of them. Yale Gallanter had better get smart like Shapiro eventually did and bring in Billy Martin or some other brother to help him bring down the house like Johnnie Cochran did.
