Houston Nutt has agreed to become the new football coach at Ole Miss, The Associated Press and the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal are reporting. Nutt resigned Monday after 10 seasons at Arkansas. He was 75-48 with the Razorbacks, winning or sharing the SEC West title three times.

Nutt will be introduced at a news conference at Ole Miss on Wednesday.

In some ways, I'm surprised and not surprised by this move. I personally thought he was going to Baylor or somewhere else outside the SEC.

I have a feeling this one's here for a while, Ironghost. After putting up with the big Zero for three years, we're ready. Sometimes you feel like a Nutt, sometimes you don't (but Ole Miss definately feels like a Nutt right now). He's our Nutty Buddy, bring him on!

Of course, Ole Miss has been stealing Arkansas' best basketball players for years! Especially under Rob Evans in the 90's, who coincidently is an asst. coach for Arkansas Men's Basketball Program.

Still do love him, Iron. Never agreed with firing Cut, and a lot of other fans felt the same way. Folks got mad about Boone's quick trigger finger, I think that's the only reason the big 0 lasted this long.
