Mississippi State was knocked out of the SEC Tournament on Thursday after losing to Vanderbilt 3-2. Ole Miss had beaten the Bulldogs 3-1 on Wednesday in a game that ended way too late for Doctor S.

Meanwhile, Southern Miss lost to East Carolina 2-1 in 10 innings on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will play Tulane in an elimination game on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
