Jackson State defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 3-2 Wednesday in the first round of the SWAC Tournament at Smith-Wills Stadium. The Tigers will play Mississippi Valley State (a 10-0 loser to Prairie View) on Thursday at noon. Meanwhile, Southern defeated Alcorn State 2-1 on Tuesday.
