I wonder where all the DA critics are? They aren't complaining that this case was brought to trial in less than a year. But, when Melton's case is expedited quickly, they complain of all the child molesters and criminals that are not going to trial. You. Can't. Have. It. Both. Ways. I'd like to see any of them try to decide what cases get moved around when heinous crimes like this happen. Where are they congratulating the DA's office for holding their ground on the murder charges? I guess the are busy figuring out how to get gang attorney, Robert Smith, elected DA. That's that ticket! It's working so well with Melton.

Well, one thing is for sure. This case was not complicated in any way by Mr. Melton's interference as far as I know. And it doesn't seem like any witnesses recanted, whether they had ever lived in his house or not.

before reading.... I like our DA I am a fan of hers. Her office does good work. BUT Before all the congrats, it should be pointed out...His DNA was on the hammer, he confessed to hitting her a couple of times with it, he was sleeping with the 14 year old, and his defense was I hit her with the hammer because she got rough with me but only a couple of times, someone else came along and finshed her off.... The DA on the cases only concern was the victim and her life style (14 year old run away that had turned to prostitution) The DA's office should be congradulated for getting justice, but this was a case that the verdict was going to be manslaughter or murder, based on the jury's interpretation of the victim. Not exactly the greatest lawyering ever on the DA's part. They had all the facts, evidence, etc.... Still I am PRO DA, just not the strongest case to laud them

Wilson has the heart of a drug dealer. He should be ashamed for abusing and killing that child. Maybe somebody will beat his you know what while he's in prison.

Let me first begin by saying I am a member of Toice's family and we are deeply saddened by all of this. I also do not condone the taking of someone's life and that is wrong in itself. But, unless you know all the facts understand there are two sides to a story. For the sake of her family, no one could speak on the type of person she was. Let me say this much, my family was shocked to find out her true identity being they were led to believe she was someone else. Some members of my family were misled and it feels like a slap in the face. I will say this, there will be no shame in the police officer's game when they're in court and they're definitely going to drop the bombs that will cause some people to ponder Hmmmm..... My family is in no way asking for pity on his behalf and we wish nothing like this on no one but I myself will leave on this note, "You never can say unless you're in the situation yourself". God Bless!!

Me and my sister grew up around the Wilson Family and actually they lived only two houses down from up. Very nice respectful family never caused any trouble and this was a total shock for us let alone any of our other neighbors to hear about this. I know and understand what he did was wrong be honestly he is not the type of person that people are protraying him to be. God BLESS Toice and Family From the 24th Block (those of you who knows the family you will understand)

I went to high school with Toice and he was a very nice, kind and gentle individual. I don't know what went wrong and I'm certain this is a tragedy for his loved ones. That being said I can't take away from the pain that the Sandifer family is going through as well. My heart goes out to everyone and both families will be in my prayers.
