The Big Three all made the NCAA Regionals. Ole Miss knew it was going to host a regional before it won the SEC Tournament on Sunday. Mississippi State, which finished ninth in the SEC during the regular season and didn't make the tourney, is headed for Clemson, S.C. Interestingly, LSU, which finished eighth and reached the tourney, wasn't invited. Southern Miss is going to Tuscaloosa, Ala.

How did State get a bid over LSU? State didn't even go to the conference tournament in Hoover and LSU did, but LSU stays home while State gets to play. If you don't make your conference tournament, you shouldn't get to be in the College World Series. This isn't Big XII football where you don't have to win your conference or even the division in your conference to play for the national title.
