High school football, MPSA Championships, Mississippi College, Clinton: The academies' championship weekend kicks off when Claiborne plays Lee for the A title (1 p.m.). Simpson and Centreville meet in the AA title game (7 p.m.).

High school football, MPSA Championships, Mississippi College, Clinton: The big boys meet for state titles, starting with MRA vs. Magnolia Heights for the AAA Division 2 crown (1 p.m.). Jackson Academy plays nemesis Jackson Prep for the AAA Division 1 title (7 p.m., 930 AM/1240 AM).
