In the aftermath of New Hampshire, where Sen. John Kerry won 39% of the vote (and 14 delegates), Kerry has received the endorsements of Senators Jean Carnahan and Tom Eagleton in Missouri, and may received one from Representative Jim Clyburn of South Carolina. Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack gave him the nod as well. Read the report.

Meanwhile, Governor Howard Dean, who received 25% of the vote and 8 delegates in New Hampshire, asked his campaign manager, Joe Trippi, to take on lesser duties; according to AP, he resigned instead. Dean's new campaign CEO is Roy Neel, a former Gore advisor. Trippi has been praised for his innovative approach to Internet campaigning, but derided for organizational problems in Iowa and for the lackluster TV ads produced by his media firm, Trippi, McMahon and Squires.

Dean reportedly has less than $5 million dollars in the bank and may ask his staff to defer their salaries for two weeks, perhaps in order to make the ad buys necessary to compete in all of the February 3rd state races. After his concession speech in New Hampshire, however, Dean's online fundraising picked up, as he raised over $20,000 per hour for small donations during the daytime on Wednesday and nearly $250,000 in 24 hours.
