The League of Women Voters of the Jackson Area invites the public to a January 13 meeting to hear Dr. Daniel Allen speak on an alternate Development of the Pear River. The luncheon meeting is at 11:30 am at the Capitol Club, in the Capitol Towers Building, the corner of Pear and Congress Streets. This program is one of a number of meeting the League has had as part of our study on the "Impact on the Quality of Life by the Pearl River in Our Tri-County Area" during the past year.
