Today Eric Stringfellow wrote a column about Hope Credit Union, which deserves attention for its efforts: "Hope's seeds were planted at Anderson United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jeffrey Stallworth and William Bynum, the Enterprise Corp.‘s chief executive officer. Part of its mission was to offer low-income residents high-quality financial services. Hope also sought to educate young people about money and finances."
